Thalia had removed her pale pink robe, and had shape shifted so she looked like a decent mermaid. She couldn't swim at all in her preferred shape, but as a mermaid it would be easy.
She gasped in delight as what had used to be her legs transformed into a glistening light pink tail. Most of her shapes were pink, it was her favourite colour.
She swam out a few yards, hoping the real mermaids in these depths wouldn't see her for what she was.

Rosa tiptoed over the wet rock but on seeing a sudden movement in the water, she screamed shrilly, stumbled backwards and fell into the water. She really shouldn't be so jittery, it was probably just a harmless mermaid, honestly, she could be so stupid sometimes, on the other hand, maybe it was a killer sea monster hungry for her blood.

Thalia had just been going deeper into the water when she heard a shriek from above. She swam upwards quickly, in case someone was hurt.
As she surfaced, she saw a girl who was flailing in the water. She looked young, and had bright red hair, really red, not just ginger.
"Are you alright?" Thalia asked, as she swam closer to the girl. "I heard a scream." She didn't know if the girl could swim or not, but she was close enough in case she started drowning.

"Erm, that might have been me, I'm not very emotionally syable you see, and have a tendency to scream at well, anything. Please tell me you're not one of those evil blood thirsty murderous mermaids, or i may be forced to scream again," she said hurriedly, even though she didn;t think she was in any danger right now.

"Don't worry, I'm not an evil mermaid. In fact, I'm quite nice really. Would you like a bit of help getting out of the water, or can you swim?" Thalia could have told the girl she wasn't a mermaid at all, but who knew how she would react?

"I can half swim, well splash really, but there's not much difference really. Help would be very welcome," she said, trying to smile.
(ooc: Must go soon, I apologise for abandoning you.)

"Alright," Thalia took hold of the girls's arm and gently pulled it, the result of which that she floated closer to the shore.
"I'm Thalia by the way, what's your name?"

Latanya watched from her hiding place up in a tree, her faerie wings fluttering.

"I am Rosa Hellthought, tamer of eagles, keeper of the forests, rider of bears and all creatures wild, child of the woods, wolf friend and consumer of muffins,"she said, hoisting herself back onto the rocks.

Latnya stepped down from the tree and stodd silent and unmoving in the shade, waiting for one of them to notice her.

Rosa saw a stranger standing near them. She didn't look hostile or likely to kill her, but there was never anything wrong with being paranoid..in her opinion. "Who goes there? Be ye friend or foe?" she called out.

"Friend" called back Latanya "Am I intruding?"

"Not at all, I fear I am the intruder here," Rosa called back merrily, her high spirits unabashed even after being submerged in freezing water and suffered a near death experience.

Latanya flew forward and landed where the two girls were standing. She gave a small bow. "I'm Latanya Nissa. Pleased to meet you"

"Rosa Hellthought, pleased to meet you too, there are normally a lot of eccentric titles that come after my name but I've already said them twice today and it really is exhausting speaking for so long without breathing," she rambled on whilst trying to wring all the water out of her hair.
