:: its a regular roleplay... Sorry if its a bit long ::
:: regular rules and such apply.... so yep ::
Torin roamed this forest often, it was a particularly nice day in the exiled land, although it was always dark and cold.. Today the shadows seemed to have a light blue tint to them.. He enjoyed this, it was a welcomed temporary change to the usual dark and gloominess of this area. He stopped in a small clearing, extremely large trees surrounded the small section, the trees giving the area a trapped feeling. The scent that stopped him brought a smile to his face. Anyalise.. He was about to take a step towards his sister, when something nicked his left ear, he stopped, feeling the trickle of blood run down his head, hearing the low thud of a dagger penetrating a tree… He swallowed confused, was he being attacked by his sister or someone else…?
‘Anya…?’ No answer came, just silence, had she run off?..
Tears were streaming down her face, the cold droplets running along the gray marked paths that were etched there when she became blooded as a werewolf.. She was wearing a long gray dress, black rope loosely tied around her waist, holding an array of daggers and such.. She couldn’t believe she had just done that, even a nick to his ear hurt her so terribly… If it were another target they would’ve been dead by now, she kept her sobs, not wanting to reveal her hiding place.. It was either her or Vlorent, either way Torin would most likely die.. She sighed, determination now flooding her… She peered through the bushes, to discover Torin wasn’t there…
‘Did he flee…?’ she whispered,
Torin watched her from above, secretly hidden in a tree,
‘What the hell is she doing…’ He thought bitterly, not wanting to believe his sister had just attacked her.. He saw the pain on her face, though he also saw how her eyes had changed. They were no longer happy and bright, but dim and glazed over, her pupils sometimes extremely large or tiny.. He instinctively flicked his ear, instantly regretting it as the drops fell to the ground..
His sister made haste, turning quickly with great skill, pulling out a dagger from the rope and casting it expertly.. She flinched as she heard him yelp, tears streaming from her eyes in waves.. She stepped back as she heard him falling from the tree, hitting branches on the way down, a crumpled body of a wolf lay on the ground before her, she stumbled back… Was it that easy? Torin didn’t even try to fight back? She looked at her brother, the weapon protruding out of his side, the fur surrounding it matted with blood, leaves and twigs were caught in his fur.. He looked like a horrible mess..
It was painful to breathe, his breath came in short raspy gasps… He felt his sister’s gaze on him… Torin made no effort to move, imagining the pain it would bring him.. He guessed the dagger had slipped through his rib cage and punctured a lung.. He heard her steps coming towards him slowly, he wasn’t about to let her finish him off.. Quick for his condition, he hurriedly pulled himself to his feet, setting himself into a fighting stance.. He glared at her, sibling love still glazed over his eyes.. Clutching the ground with his claws, he turned his head and gently pulled the dagger from his side, tears now coming from his eyes.. He dropped it to the ground now looking her in the eyes..
Anyalise fixed her gaze away from his, this was the first time she had ever been afraid of a victim… She stepped back a little bit, if he was going to fight in his wolf form… So would she, she shifted her form, swaying her tail around, ready..
Torin merely sat down, not caring anymore.. He loved his sister dearly, but if she was going to play this game…. He would not let himself just be killed..
‘So… How have you been sister?..’
Anya would not have any of this. Sitting down? Trying to strike up a conversation, how ‘bout not.. She thought angrily to herself, trying to push the guilt out of her mind and place the blame on him.. She shook her fur, then charged at him she leapt up at him ready to rip flesh..
Torin was still sitting, he made no effort to move as she leapt towards him either, once she was at the right distance he swiftly lashed out at her, taking her neck into his jaws and throwing her forcefully onto the ground.. His teeth still clamped around her neck, he bit down slowly, though not suffocating.. It would be easy to finish her off now, just a snap and she was dead… But he need rest, all this movement, hurt him so badly, he struggled to show he was okay, that nothing had flawed him..
Anya could not believe this, she was on her deathbed.. She closed her eyes tightly.. Prepared for her trip to the other world…. Minutes went by and she held him there…
What was he doing? She thought quickly to herself, changing her mind that she was not ready to die… She began to flail out with her hind legs, scratching his underside, she finally kicked his weak spot..
Torin yelped loudly in pain, blind in anger and anguish he snapped at one of her hind legs.. He snapped it in two, then leaped back, whimpers still escaping him.. He began to cough violently, blood spraying with every cough he made.. Air, all he wanted was air and to stop fighting his sister…
Anya had cried out in pain, but her cries were drowned out by Torin’s hacking and gasps for air.. She licked her leg, but it brought more pain, the bone was cleanly broken in half.. Tears stained her fur, she was going to stop this… She should’ve thought of it before… She limped clumsily towards her brother, whom was now laying down, dirty blood staining his side and maw.. She approached his front, sticking her maw out to lick his nose and comfort him… He snapped at her nose, a deep growl erupting from his throat, which caused more coughs to explode from him…
Torin turned away from her, which pained him more than ever… He couldn’t accept anything from her, she wanted to have peace with him now? What had he ever done to deserve this from her.. Anger tore at his heart.. He lay his head down, letting his guard down with it… He didn’t care anymore..
Anya limped backwards… No.. She thought, hurt by his actions.. Though she knew she deserved this, she didn’t want this punishment.. She turned around, escaping into the forest..
Torin heard her leave.. He tried to sigh, but he kept it in.. Curling tightly in a ball, he stuffed his nose under his tail.. Feeling more tired than ever, he wished he were at his den right now.. He closed his eyes, falling slowly into sleep…….
